Graffiti Letters Font

Draw the first tag. After you have done the first Graffiti, head to our Collection of Graffiti Letters. Think about a name you need to use as being a sprayer. No ideas yet? Just start out using your real name! I provide several designs per letter. You can search for letters by clicking on the buttons at the top . Create the first Graffiti Tag this way . So in depth : 1. get a marker on this occasion ; not a pencil; Tags look a lot better if you are using the right marker – I used a Edding 500 Marker to the example Tag below. The Grog Cutter 08 XFP – Death Black can be a very good marker at the same time and more cost effective . 2. get a notepad 3. Go to our variety of Graffiti Letters 4. Search for your letters on your name Example. I choose the word “Ether”. 5. You can optionally add drips, arrows and big serifs as highlights in your Tag like I did.

In the first part I will talk about how I started and provide a first hint how to begin out. The second part is a tutorial, which is split up into two parts. The first part offers the steps for a first Graffiti Tag. The second you are about transforming the Graffiti Tag into a Graffiti Piece. Let’s go!

How I started to draw graffiti. Starting-out is usually difficult. This is why I want to explain how I did it . My first Graffiti was “Limp Bizkit” in the album cover from “Significant other”. Do you know it? I loved this guitar rock band and still love em and decided to draw it since it impressed me. I was lucky and was quite delighted by my first drawing.

So that is my first job for you is: 1. get a pencil 2. get a sheet of paper 3. get an eraser 4. visit a Graffiti you like with Google Image Search, in places you can simply identify the letters. For Instance “simple style Graffiti” may be used being a key phrase . 5. and draw it!

Maybe you might need a few tries in the beginning . This is absolutely nothing to concern yourself with . Noone can be a professional immediately . So practice, practice, practice, practice! I know you`ll make it!

STEP 1: Trace your graffiti tag. If you used a marker you`ll probably predict the Graffiti Tag should you put a notepad about it . So your first task could it be to trace the edges of the lines with a pencil. But leave a bit of space between your edge from the marker along with your new pencil line. So the letter gets bigger. The result should look much like the image shown below. Not that bad actually, but we want to improve.

STEP 2: Improve the graffiti. The form of the whole Graffiti is important as well . The “E” in the beginning is bigger compared to the “R” in the long run . So I made a decision to make it smaller and add arrows on both sides to help it become a compressed form.(red) I also added serifs or made them more complex .(blue circles). In typography, a serif is the small extra stroke bought at the finish from the main vertical and horizontal strokes of some letters. In Graffiti it`s easy to use them to make you Piece more complicated . I also added forms which increase the dynamic with the graffiti and ensure it is more technical.

The result looks like the image below. This step usually implies a lot of trials and errors and takes time . So don’t be sad when the Graffiti immediately doesn`t seem like you need to . Even in the event you are practised to draw in Graffiti, this task is going to take some time and intensive use with the eraser.

STEP 3: Redraw the lines having a fineliner. The next step is much easier . Take your Copic Markers Multiliner 0.5 or even a Fineliner pen and redraw your pencil lines. Wait a while afterwards to allow along with dry and after that erase all the pencil lines. The result will want to look similar to this.

A cheap printer with copy function like Canon PIXMA MG3620 or a similar product have to do the task . I use a previous version with this printer series and it works well but there are numerous others which work quite similar.

STEP 4: Color your graffiti piece. To make the coloring more technical , I recommend that you always draw gradients. In this case i colored the entire Graffiti Piece in a single big gradient. If you wish to make your piece to take a look even more advanced , you will need to include a different gradient to every one letter. The Copic Ciao markers are very best for drawing gradients. I have not achieved it with another marker yet.

Which color scheme to select ? In general I recommend one to use complementary colors for – foreground and background – or – fill-ins and shadows. If you need to use more colors, you should use colors in the color shade of just one in the 2 colors or near them on large wheel. You can also just visit a Graffiti within our blog or on Google Image search and copy along with scheme. If you are a beginner, this approach might fit well.

STEP 5: Drawing the shadows Choose a place below the Graffiti where every one of the shadow blocks result in . Like shown inside photo below. Now choose how large the blocks should be . I took 1,5cm (1/2 inches) as length in cases like this .

Now please take a ruler and combine every corner with the Graffiti a 1 .5cm (1/2 inches) long line to the chosen point. Then, connect the lines parallel to the Graffiti outline. The results are blocks, which you can fill with color.

Fill the Blocks with black. If you want more technical shadows you can fake light spots with brighter areas inside the middle transitioning to dark areas on the outside like done within the example.

STEP 6: Second outline and background The term “Second outline” describes the line throughout the whole Graffiti. In this case I choose the complementary color to orange – blue. As a background I added bubbles and drips in the same color.

STEP 7: Optionally add highlights, your name-tag and the entire year of creation The gradient as Fill-In maybe is way too boring or seems not complex enough. So you can additional add lines and shapes above the Fill-In. Common shapes are bubbles, rectangles, arrows, refelections or outlines of shapes. Usually they are colored inside a darker color shade with the color below of these . They can be also added towards the background.

To complete your artwork, add your Name-Tag and the entire year of creation. If you are or would have been a part of a crew, then add the abbreviation of your crew.

How to attract graffiti: your first graffiti piece in 7 steps : You have redrawn a Graffiti? You have created your first Tag? Nice! So let’s proceed !. Graffiti Pieces are incredibly complex. To start , I would recommend you to take your tag and transform it right into a Graffiti Piece. Every Graffiti Piece consists of these parts: 1. The Fill-In: colored areas 2. the outline: colored or black line round the fill-ins 3. a 3D-shadow 4. a credentials 5. a second outline round the whole piece 6. optionally: the tag name from the sprayer 7. optionally: highlights 8. optionally: the year of creation.

I use the subsequent materials: 1. regular piece of paper – e.g.: printing paper 2. soft uncolored eraser 3. pencil with 2B mine hardness 4. Fine Liners for Highlights and small areas 5. Copic Markers Multiliner 0.5 for outlines 6. At least a basis group of Copic Ciao markers for Fill-ins. I have the large group of Copic Ciao markers markers!. So, let’s dive straight to it:
