Graffiti Rafting Bali

In the first part I will discuss how I started and provide the first hint how to begin out. The second part is a tutorial, which can be split into two parts. The first part contains the steps for a first Graffiti Tag. The second the first is about transforming the Graffiti Tag right into a Graffiti Piece. Let’s go!

How to attract graffiti: your first graffiti piece in 7 steps : You have redrawn the first Graffiti? You have created your first Tag? Nice! So let’s go forward !. Graffiti Pieces are very complex. To start , I would recommend you to definitely take your tag and transform it into a Graffiti Piece. Every Graffiti Piece contains the next parts: 1. The Fill-In: colored areas 2. the outline: colored or black line around the fill-ins 3. a 3D-shadow 4. a background 5. another outline throughout the whole piece 6. optionally: the tag name of the sprayer 7. optionally: highlights 8. optionally: the season of creation.

I use these materials: 1. regular piece of paper – e.g.: printing paper 2. soft uncolored eraser 3. pencil with 2B mine hardness 4. Fine Liners for Highlights and small areas 5. Copic Markers Multiliner 0.5 for outlines 6. At least a basis set of Copic Ciao markers for Fill-ins. I have the big pair of Copic Ciao markers markers!. So, let’s dive right into it:

STEP 1: Trace your graffiti tag. If you used a marker you`ll probably see through the Graffiti Tag should you put a sheet of paper onto it . So a task can it be in order to the sides of the lines having a pencil. But leave a bit of space relating to the edge in the marker as well as your new pencil line. So the letter gets bigger. The result may need to look much like the image shown below. Not that bad actually, but we should improve.

STEP 2: Improve the graffiti. The form of the whole Graffiti is essential also . The “E” at the start is larger as opposed to “R” ultimately . So I decided to ensure it is smaller and add arrows on both sides to ensure it is a compressed form.(red) I also added serifs or made them more technical .(blue circles). In typography, a serif may be the small extra stroke bought at the conclusion in the main vertical and horizontal strokes of some letters. In Graffiti you frequently use them to allow you to Piece more complicated . I also added forms which help the dynamic from the graffiti and ensure it is more advanced.

The result looks just like the image below. This step usually implies a lot of trials and errors and takes a little while . So don’t be sad if your Graffiti immediately does not look like you want to . Even should you are practised to draw in Graffiti, this task will take a little while and intensive use with the eraser.

STEP 3: Redraw the lines which has a fineliner. The next step is much easier . Take your Copic Markers Multiliner 0.5 or even a Fineliner pen and redraw your pencil lines. Wait a while afterwards to let large dry and after that erase every one of the pencil lines. The result need to look this way.

A cheap printer with copy function like Canon PIXMA MG3620 or even a similar product have to do the task . I use a previous version of this printer series and it works well but there are various others which work quite similar.

STEP 4: Color your graffiti piece. To make the coloring more complex , I recommend you to always draw gradients. In this case i colored the full Graffiti Piece a single big gradient. If you need to help make your piece to take a look even more complicated , you`ll need to add a different gradient to each letter. The Copic Ciao markers have become beneficial to drawing gradients. I have not achieved it with another marker yet.

Which color scheme to choose ? In general I recommend that you use complementary colors for – foreground and background – or – fill-ins and shadows. If you need to use more colors, you should utilize colors from your color shade of a single from the 2 colors or near to them on large wheel. You can also just look for a Graffiti inside our blog or on Google Image search and copy the color scheme. If you are a beginner, this approach might fit well.

STEP 5: Drawing the shadows Choose an area below the Graffiti where all of the shadow blocks lead to . Like shown inside the photo below. Now choose what size the blocks should be . I took 1,5cm (1/2 inches) as length in this instance .

Now have a ruler and draw from every corner of the Graffiti a single .5cm (1/2 inches) long line for the chosen point. Then, connect the lines parallel for the Graffiti outline. The results are blocks, which you`ll fill with color.

Fill the Blocks with black. If you want more technical shadows you can fake light spots with brighter areas within the middle transitioning to dark areas for the outside like done in the example.

STEP 6: Second outline and background The term “Second outline” describes the road throughout the whole Graffiti. In this case I choose the complementary color to orange – blue. As experience I added bubbles and drips within the same color.

STEP 7: Optionally add highlights, your name-tag and 4 seasons of creation The gradient as Fill-In maybe is too boring or seems not complex enough. So you can additional add lines and shapes across the Fill-In. Common shapes are bubbles, rectangles, arrows, refelections or outlines of shapes. Usually they`re colored in a darker color shade of the color below of these . They can even be added to the background.

To complete your artwork, add your Name-Tag and the entire year of creation. If you are or will be a part of a crew, then include the abbreviation of the crew.

Draw your first tag. After you have done the first Graffiti, go to our Collection of Graffiti Letters. Think about a name you need to use as being a sprayer. No ideas yet? Just start together with your real name! I provide several designs for each letter. You can search for letters by hitting the buttons in the top . Create the first Graffiti Tag by doing this . So step by step : 1. get a marker this time ; not really a pencil; Tags look way better the use of the right marker – I used a Edding 500 Marker for your example Tag below. The Grog Cutter 08 XFP – Death Black is a very good marker too and way cheaper . 2. get yourself a sheet of paper 3. Go to our collection of Graffiti Letters 4. Search for the letters to your name Example. I choose the phrase “Ether”. 5. You can optionally add drips, arrows and big serifs as highlights to your Tag like I did.

How I started to draw in graffiti. Starting-out is definitely difficult. This is why I want to explain how I achieved it . My first Graffiti was “Limp Bizkit” in the album cover from “Significant other”. Do you know it? I loved this rock band whilst still being love em and decided to draw it since it impressed me. I was lucky and was quite satisfied with my first drawing.

So that is my first part of you is: 1. obtain a pencil 2. get a small note 3. have an eraser 4. visit a Graffiti you prefer with Google Image Search, in places you can simply identify the letters. For Instance “simple style Graffiti” may be used being a key word . 5. and draw it!

Maybe you need a few tries initially . This is nothing to be worried about . Noone is really a professional without delay . So practice, practice, practice, practice! I know you will make it!
