Sounds strange ?, yes, that’s when I first read the porridge banner called Envy. It is not difficult to find spiteful porridge around the city of Bandar Lampung. Incidentally this week we deliberately stayed at home in Bandar Lampung. And until the day was approaching night, we finally stopped at a porridge with envy which if counted were five to seven shops along this road. So that makes me curious.

Finally we stopped by one of the shops. Without a long wait, Husband and Dimas began guerrilla with the Mamam porridge seller. This and that message. The order finally arrived. And traallaa, oo this is porridge with envy anyway. Judging from the shape and texture, the porridge is made from pomegranate sago which, if boiled, will become chewy granules. Porridge made with hot coconut milk as a sauce. Hmm, so delicious.


200 gr sugar
200 gr pomegranate sago
1 tablespoon of rice flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
10 jackfruit, poton small dice
1 liter of coconut milk
3 pandan leaves

How to Make:

Boil water, about 2 liters, then add pomegranate sago and boil until cooked to float. Remove drain then wash with water, set aside. Cook 1 liter of coconut milk with salt, pandan leaves, rice flour and sugar until it boils. Add the dried pomegranate sago, along with the jackfruit chunks. No need to wait long, immediately serve porridge with envy.
